Terms & Conditions

By accessing Angelina County Released Inmates, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or its linked tools.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with Angelina County, any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. The site is a records-resource reference, not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of This Website

This is an independent reference site with no authority to speak for a government office. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, change a status, or file a document. Its pages organize Angelina County, Texas, and federal record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use the site lawfully and without harming other people or its operation. You agree not to:

  • break a law while using the site;
  • stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone;
  • make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site information;
  • seek unauthorized access to the site, servers, or accounts;
  • run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools; or
  • interfere with availability or another visitor's use.

No Consumer Reporting Services

Angelina County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information for:

  • hiring, firing, or another employment decision;
  • tenant or housing screening;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

External Resources

Links may point to sheriff and corrections pages, release records, courts, legal aid, notification systems, federal locators, and third-party searches. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control outside content, uptime, data handling, price, or terms, and users should review the destination's own policies.

Services Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law permits, no warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that a partner search will be thorough.

Custody status and public records change often. Nothing presented here is an official statement from the Angelina County Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or any government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, operators, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Angelina County Released Inmates or the relevant content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without prior written permission, except where applicable law permits.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted. Continued use after posting means the revised terms apply.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

Texas Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public information held by Texas government bodies, but it does not make this private site a government custodian.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
